personality:
Alyss is very shy and quiet, and will get along with basically anyone (its very hard to anger her) she is intelligent, but very rarely speaks out unless prompted by others. she's sweet, and is easily embarrassed, (has a major super cute blush) is very loyal and trustworthy. though she has the ability to read minds she rarely does, she thinks it a major invasion of other peoples privacy.


demon personality:
snarky and sarcastic, alot more confident then usual, and way better fighter. It usually takes over when it thinks Alyss is being teased or taunted, or thinks its needs to say a word or two. (will read other peoples minds without a care for the persons privacy.)

History:
Alyss was born in 1876, her parents were performers in a circus travelling around England. She was an obedient child, but when she performed she was a completely different person, confident, and funny the crowd loved her as the little clown that performed funny tricks. when she turned 15 a demon that had recently been summoned by an idiot cult follower decided to pay the circus a visit. It found Alyss sleeping in one of the caravans. It saw that Alyss's soul was unusually pure for a human her age, and longed to eat the soul at once, but at the same time it wished to savor it too. So it merged itself with Alyss somehow. in simple terms the demon possessed her, and slowly eats away at her soul, but lets the soul regenerate so it has an everlasting foodsupply.

Alyss started acting strange, one minute her normal self, next minute pulling wings off birds, laughing hysterically, screaming at others and sometimes she'd just sit in a corner and stare at people. She refused to go onstage, saying she felt sick. Her parents at first thought she was just playing but soon they started to fear their daughter, once smiling, quiet, and well behaved, but now behaving like she was mad. Her father tried to beat the demon out of her, and praying to god even though he'd been athiest.

Her mother starved her to see if that would help, but after months of trying they gave up and dropped her off at the closest mental hospital claiming their daughter had died of diease. She's never seen them since. The nurses and docters treated Alyss like crap, along with all the other patients. They beat her, and dunked her in cold water to 'kick the demons out of her head' the demon had laughed at this. Alyss slowly receeded into the darkest depths of her mind, and the demon reeked havoc with the other docters and nurses minds, bending and breaking with relish. In a few months every docter, and nurse was beyond repair.

Once Alyss finally regained control, she was disgusted with what the demon had done, but at the same time glad that the docters and nurses got what they deserved. She freed the other patients and healed all their minds so they could cope again. Alyss made a living by performing on the streets for money, she was mugged several times by other homeless citizens, but she would always have her money back by morning. (don't ask what happened to the thieves, you don't want to know.)

After a few years she realized she wasn't aging and has lived with the appearance of a 15 year old up til now, and is basically immortal. The demon says its because it's in her that she's immortal, and if it leaves for even a second she will grow old and turn to dust in seconds. having a demon in her has somehow stopped her from ageing, and has given her eternal life.
A few weeks ago Alyss heard of Infamous Academy and decided to give it a go.

Though the demon has no specific gender, Alyss thinks of him as male, and the demon mainly acts like a malicious boy anyway. Alyss has slowly started to treat the demon (or D as he likes to be called) like an older brother,and the demon started to become attached to Alyss and protects her when she's in trouble. They are act like siblings.
and...
She's a crap fighter, but mainly uses her power of entering other peoples minds in a fight. though sometimes people have natural mind sheilds, and that when she puts her sharp teeth and nails to use.
